We all have many unique connections in our lives, although not all are happy and healthy. Therapy offers you a neutral, comfortable and safe opportunity to explore these connections with others and within yourself. With that information, you are able to improve the use of your strengths, become better prepared to overcome challenges and reach your goals!

My 25 years of clinical practice has provided me with the opportunity to work with adults of varying ages, young adults/college students, adolescents and pre-teens, dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, parenting issues, relationships, life transitions, identity development and self-esteem.

I incorporate techniques which focus on the connection of our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I  have received training/experience in these therapeutic interventions:

  • EMDR Trained, pursuing certification

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

  • Prolonged Exposure for PTSD

  • Brief CBT for Suicide Prevention

  • MATCH-ADTC

  • IDD and Trauma Toolkit

  • Parenting Program

  • Managing Aggression

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Skills (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills (DBT)

  • Anger Management

It is important that a client feels comfortable talking to their therapist.  I respect people as human beings and as having unique attributes.  I strive to be an ally and support clients in their journey to meet their goals.

It is a big step in searching for a therapist! I appreciate your consideration and welcome you to contact me if you have any questions.  I am also happy to do a free consultation.
